Temperature sensors are measuring devices remarkably exploited in the industry sector. The type of measuring element and its construction determine the election and design of an appropriate temperature censoring instrument. Simex’s temperature sensors measuring elements consist of two types: resistance sensors (thrust sensors) and thermocouple sensors (thermoelectric sensors). Resistance temperature sensors incorporate a measuring element made of platinum (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000) or nickel (Ni100). On the other hand, thermocouple sensors are made of numerous metals, which depend on the temperature range and sensitivity required. The types available are J, K, N, S, R, B and T.
When it comes to sensor design, these temperature measuring devices are divided into head sensors, cable sensors, mineral insulated sensors and sensors for HVAC application.
Accessories are also available: E, T, J, K, N, S, B and temperature sensor sockets.
