Cartridge heaters in industry
Simex offer, apart from a wide range of measuring equipment, also includes industrial heaters. Among the heaters, a very popular group is cartridge ones.
Cartridge heater is a heating element with one-sided connection which, despite its small size, is capable of emitting a relatively large amount of heat. It is therefore ideal for heating solids by mounting it in the holes of metal parts. It is successfully used in many sectors, such as: plastics processing, foundry, footwear, wood and automotive industries.
It owes its special properties to its construction. The steel cover conceals a resistance wire along its entire length, surrounded by a ceramic core which enables an even distribution of thermal energy. We produce heaters of any size, power and supply voltage. For full convenience of use we offer several variants of cable routing.

Maintaining the right temperature also requires the use of measuring and control devices, including temperature sensors. Depending on the process and needs, a temperature sensor can be built into a heater or placed independently in the appropriate place of a system.
