Temperature sensors for explosive zones

The Central Mining Institute (GIG) in Poland confirms that our sensors meet the requirements of the ATEX 2014/34/EU directive and have assessed their production with a positive ISO 80079 certification.

21 new models of intrinsically safe Ex ia temperature sensors

There are as many as 21 different types of intrinsically safe sensors available, all in the head version. Each model can be configured in a very wide range, including the type of sensor (single, double, with a transmitter), measuring element (RTD - including Pt100/Pt500/Pt1000 and TC sensors - thermocouples J, K, S and others) or process connection.

What are intrinsically safe temperature sensors?

Intrinsically safe Ex ia temperature sensors are intended for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. We designed them so that, while meeting ATEX and IECEx standards, they cannot be an ignition source. They are used in the chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, and petroleum industries where the risk of explosion results from the presence of flammable liquids and gases, steam, mists, and explosive dust.

These sensors ensure safe temperature monitoring!
